Who Are Your People?
In some cultures, it’s customary to ask this question as a way of making a connection when meeting someone for the first time. In The Parke Society, we’ve been helping Park/e/s descendants answer that question for over sixty years!
How do we do that? Below are just some of the ways we can help you find “your people” – and if we don’t have the information you’re seeking, we’ll help you find it!
Tracing Park, Parke, Parks, and Parkes lineages across the globe.
The Parke Society Today...
Maintains the GivenName Index of over 42,000 Park/e/s surnamed individuals, with their vital facts.

Welcomes an average active roster of 330 members. Since our inception, more than 1,745 Park/e/s researchers have joined and shared with The Society.
​
Created and utilizes a unique Lineage Key system that catalogs various family lines for easy reference.
​
Coordinates and supports the Park/e/s DNA Project. Ever expanding, to date there are 99 Lineage Keys with DNA identified, as well as several other lineages not yet assigned to Lineage Keys. These are currently divided into 36 genetically distinct groups.

Publishes a thrice yearly newsletter. Over 165 newsletter editions now available online to members.
​
Sponsors monthly digital townhall meetings delving into various genealogy related topics.
​
Maintains a Parke Society YouTube Channel, with monthly townhall meetings and other presentations.
​
Maintains a lending library of over 140 publications specifically focused on Park/e/s family records.
​
Welcomes international members from the US, Canada, Switzerland, Luxembourg, the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa, as well as anywhere else Park/e/s descendants are found.

Founded in 1963, The Parke Society proudly stands as one of the few family/surname organizations with this longevity. Our all-volunteer staff is our strength.
