(1783, NY – 1855, NY), (Represented),  m. John Buckingham Gilbert, (1780, CT – 1845, NY), 21 March 1799, Probably Saratoga, Saratoga, NY.  Two Children surnamed Gilbert known though there may have been others.

Two issues with this line. First, many researchers are taking Esther’s surname as Parker due to their interpretation of the handwriting in the census. I have looked at the entry and believe that it is really Parkes. Secondly Esther appears to be perhaps a child of Jehiel  Joel  (06T1379)  and Mary (Hunter) Parks, placing this line in the Robert of Massachusetts lineage. Further evidence is needed to seal this connection.

• Harriet (02VR2) Gilbert, (1807, NY – 1891, NY),  m. David E Rowley (1805, NY – 1866, NY) 1 November 1827, Malta, Saratoga County, NY. Five children surnamed Rowley.
